Thoughts on Cochise County Supervisor Peggy Judd's involvement in the Jan. 6 events at the US Capitol?

Judd has come under fire for traveling to Washington, D.C. with her family to participate in a pro-Trump effort to overturn the election results. The violent mob broke into the U.S. Capitol and left several casualties.

The Herald/Review reprinted Judd's full statement here. In it, she writes, "Almost home and to the end of a long journey with family to our nation's capitol. A beautiful place that we the people have built and maintain with our blood sweat and tears.

It was a perfect way to show solidarity and willingness to stand for something that my family and most of my friends feel strongly about. The unacceptable violence was not a part of the plan. It was condemned by all, including the peaceful, tired and cold protesters, our nation's leaders, even President Trump. I also condemn it!"

I'll post thoughts from community members who have submitted letters to the editor in the replies below.

What do you think? Should Judd resign?

If Mark Kelly wins, Arizona will be represented by two Democratic senators for the first time since 1953. Did you ever think you'd ever see the day?

Mark Kelly is running against Senator Martha McSally in this year's general election. Check out our voters guide at for information on all the races on your ballot!

Voted for Too high

I feel the Cochise County property taxes are outrageously high compared to other jurisdictions.
