Preserving and knowing your family history can often enhance your self-worth, self-esteem and build a historical legacy for your children and grandchildren. It does not take an enormous effort to locate family records or access public archives these days. In the age of the internet and digital databases, it is quite easy to locate historical records and photos with much greater speed and accuracy. There are many free databases and people throughout the world who post family records on public websites every day. Come join this genealogy introduction lecture and start to preserve your own past as you expand your family’s history; you might be surprised at what you find. Face coverings will be required on campus.
