The city of Willcox is set to receive approximately $531,608 for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) this fiscal year as referenced in my recent preview article https://www.myheraldreview.com/news/willcox/public-hearing-set-on-block-grant-funds/article_676aacda-c332-11eb-b414-f3b22dfc59b1.html, prior to the special meeting of city council tomorrow I was hoping to get some public opinion from Willcox and the surrounding area on what it is that they would like to see their city council use the funds for. The following are areas of concern that the city council is looking into, in order to possibly utilize funds for repairs/updates/installations of new items. From the possible options below please select the option that you are most in favor of and only vote once. As the reporter I will not be voting. Thank you in advance for your time folks. I'm just trying to garner where public opinion falls as the turnout of members of the public hasn't been great at the city council's past two meetings (that I attended) including when the CDBG funds presentation occurred and anyone in attendance was made aware of why out of all possible cities in Cochise County, Willcox was selected to receive CDBG funding. If you feel particular strong either way for any of these options I encourage you to read my preview article and plan to attend tomorrow nights meeting at 5:30 p.m. at 300 West Rex Allen Drive.
